MY STORY

Still the ADHD Otter

Once upon a time, in a magical place called Limited Edition Land, there was an otter named Still. Still was a special otter because he had a superpower called ADHD, which stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

ADHD is something that can make it hard for some kids to pay attention, sit still, or control their impulses. Still’s ADHD made him very energetic and curious. He loved exploring every corner of Limited Edition Land and trying new things. But sometimes, his ADHD made it challenging for him to focus on one thing for a long time, and he would get easily distracted.

One day, Still’s friend, Wise Owl, noticed that Still was having trouble concentrating during their lessons at school. Wise Owl gently asked Still if he ever felt like his thoughts were jumping around like a bunch of playful otters. Still nodded, and Wise Owl explained that he might have ADHD.

To find out for sure, Still went to see a special doctor called a psychologist, who asked him some questions and watched how he behaved. After a few visits, the psychologist told Still that he did indeed have ADHD, just like many other kids in Limited Edition Land and beyond.

The psychologist explained that ADHD is not something you catch like a cold. It’s something you’re born with, and it can run in families. She also told Still that there were different ways to treat ADHD. Some kids take special medicines that help them focus better, while others use strategies like having a structured routine or using tools like timers to help them stay on track.

Still was relieved to know what was going on and was excited to learn new ways to manage his ADHD. With the help of his friends and family, Still learned to embrace his unique way of thinking and exploring. He discovered that his ADHD was not a limitation but a special part of what made him, well, Still!

And so, Still continued to explore Limited Edition Land with his friends, finding joy and excitement in every new adventure, knowing that he was perfect just the way he was.
